Known locally as the "Duchess of Duke street", Holyrood is a beautifully restored and elegant Country house. Holyrood house is not just an escape from big city stresses, not just an oasis in Victoria’s most iconic and magnificent tourism setting, but an experience in and of itself. Historically, it was both the first Daylesford property to have electricity connected and Daylesford’s first fine dining restaurant. It boasts many of the original features for which it has been celebrated for over 150 years. Today it is foremost in service and hospitality. Established gardens, magnificent views, and an easy walk to all of Daylesford’s highlights. Holyrood House Daylesford is not just a place to stay, it is something rather special
Holyrood House is designed to be a place to unwind. With a focus on unmatched guest experience, it is no surprise that dining options are available for your pleasure. Breakfast is taken in the main dining room, however we also offer two other spaces for more intimate dining options." Whole of house" groups will love the complimentary Friday night dinner.
Afternoon tea is truly an occasion to be apart of at Holyrood. Antique silverware, fine china, a specialist Tea menu and plenty of mid afternoon treats to tide you through the day.
We very proudly stock a range of Complimentary FLORIS Toiletries for your visit and for the Spa rooms we also have local bath soak products for your rejuvenation or relaxation.

Colder weather is when Daylesford and Holyrood really comes to life. With plenty of relaxing armchairs and a well tended fire, you will not want to move.
After many years experience as a Chef and private service Butler and Keith's decades in retail, we decided it was time for Holyrood to shine again in guest accommodation. We look forward to making your stay something rather special. Andrew & Keith
Just over an hour from Melbourne and yet a world away from the daily grind. Let us show you why we chose to make the escape to Daylesford/ Macedon ranges. Fabulous restaurants and Wineries, Gardens, Massage and related therapies, bushwalks, and then there are the Mineral waters of course.
